From childhood in the kitchen, with my easy bake oven it was a joy that  turned into a great passion to cook.  Genesis 18:6 Abraham told Sarah to make pancakes for their guests and to used the best flour.  The "best" supersedes the requests for plain food.  Some of both my greatest challenges and disappointments were endured in the kitchen.  Survival instinct kicks in at my lowest, enabling me to succeed and over take the storm.

 God's Word does the same.  When it is applied, the mixing with faith gives the ability for a positive out come.  "Oh, taste and see the the Lord is good".   Are you feeling welcome yet?  Come, take my hand and walk with me.

Not only can I cook but over by the river are two trees that stand strong, who's roots run deep in God's Word.  They are Master Cooks in the hospitality of scriptures.  Pastors Johnny and Barbara Davis can and will teach and preach to all that will hear.  Sharing scriptures to let people know that in the 66 books of the Bible we can have what it says we can have, be what it says we can be, and do what it says we can do!

It's a mixing of good days, a spicy meal of God's Word, served on a shaky table of your problems, but standing on a sure foundation "Christ Jesus". "Come Let us break bread together".  Jesus is waiting at the table, and we're waiting to serve You.
